Welcome to Empowered Wellness Yoga Retreats! By booking a retreat or yoga class through our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. **Booking and Payment**
   - **Reservation**: To secure your spot on a retreat or class, full payment is required at the time of booking. 
   - **Payment Methods**: We accept payments online via credit or debit card. . All payments must be made in Canadian currency.
   - **Confirmation**: Upon receipt of your payment, we will send a booking confirmation via email.

2. **Cancellation and Refunds**
   - **Participant Cancellations**: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us via email or text as soon as possible.  See contact us tab.  Cancellations in which you the participant, or we the retreat centre fill the vacant spot in your absence will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
   - **Company Cancellations**: In the unlikely event that Empowered Wellness Yoga Retreats  must cancel a retreat or class, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. We are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred, such as airfare or travel costs.
   - **Force Majeure**: We are not liable for cancellations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or other unforeseeable circumstances. In such cases, we will offer a rescheduled retreat date or a credit for a future retreat.

3. **Travel Insurance**
   - **Requirement**: All participants are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal property.  Empowered Wellness Yoga Retreats is not responsible for any costs incurred due to insufficient insurance coverage.

4. **Health and Safety**
   - **Medical Conditions**: Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. This information will help us accommodate your needs and ensure your safety during the retreat.
   - **Health and Fitness**: By booking a retreat, you confirm that you are in good health and physically capable of participating in yoga and other retreat activities. If you have any concerns, please consult with your healthcare provider before booking.

5. **Conduct and Behavior**
   - **Respect**: Participants are expected to respect the retreat environment, staff, and fellow participants. Disruptive behavior or failure to follow retreat guidelines may result in your removal from the retreat without a refund.
   - **Substance Use**: The use of illegal drugs or excessive alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited during the retreat. Violation of this policy may result in immediate expulsion from the retreat.

6. **Liability Waiver**
   - **Assumption of Risk**: By participating in the retreat, you acknowledge that yoga and other physical activities carry inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation.
   - **Release of Liability**: Empowered  Wellness Yoga Retreats, its staff, and instructors are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the retreat. You agree to release and hold harmless Empowered Wellness Yoga Retreats from any claims arising out of your participation.

7. **Photography and Media**
   - **Consent**: By attending the retreat, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform us in advance.

8. **Changes to the Retreat**
   - **Modifications**: Empowered Wellness Yoga Retreats reserves the right to make changes to the retreat itinerary, schedule, or accommodation as necessary. We will notify participants of any significant changes as soon as possible.

9. **Governing Law**
   - **Jurisdiction**: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario, Canada.
